In the absence of a Government gazetted standard for chainsaw trousers the STIHL 16 has been relied upon for many years to provide a good basic level of cut protection. In recent years many local forestry companies have adopted the EU 20m/s standard, and to get the maxi mum cut protection we would recommend using our STIHL 20m/s trousers.
